passionate about
design patron of art

In 2014, Jean-François Declercq sold his outstanding vintage design collection to an important Parisian auction house. Collector, passionate about design, patron of art, curator and donator, he diversifies his activities around creativity with a particular focus on Belgian artists. Living in the house-studio build by Victor Bourgeois for the sculptor Oscar Jespers in 1928, he decided to reinstate its function of housing exhibition, after serving other uses for its past owners, with the ambition of bringing to light collectible design from the 21st century and other forms of expression.
